OVERVIEW

Kathryn has spent over twenty-five years as a member of Executive Boards in major and diverse companies (eg Aviva, Balfour Beatty) where she led the people agenda. She is a consultant and volunteers with Pilotlight, coaching charities on how to become more effective and sustainable.

Kathryn uses the combination of her broad corporate experience and strategic perspective to quickly understand and address the people related issues unique to each business. Her style is straightforward and pragmatic. She is passionate about ensuring there is alignment between purpose, culture, strategy and people (customers, leaders and employees).

CAREER HISTORY

Kathryn’s professional career started in HR in insurance. Since then she has held progressively senior executive HR positions in a variety of sectors both in the UK and Canada, with a particular focus on businesses at an inflection point of change/transformation. She is skilled in advising, coaching and facilitating, organisation design, culture change and leadership team effectiveness.

PERSONAL

Kathryn lives in Denham, Buckinghamshire with her partner and two grown up children. She is a singer and performs regularly with a Gilbert & Sullivan society. Passionate about the arts, she will often be seen in art galleries, theatres, opera houses and museums. She loves to travel and experience different cultures and is an active book club member.
