New Leader Assimilation
Accelerating the process of new leadership, for the better
Why?
Bringing a new leader in to a senior team can be difficult and it will often take time for the rapport and alignment to reach a level where everyone is working at their best.
New leader assimilation is all about bringing a new leader in to a team, in a way which encourages collaboration, cohesion and communication and accelerates the team dynamic so everyone is working at their best, from the start.

How?

We do this by creating a space for the leader and the team to get to know one another - using a number of questions distributed prior to the session, carefully selected to encourage reflection on what team members need to know about the leader, what they need from the leader to do their best work and what reservations about the change everyone in the team may have.

Some example questions:
•What do you already know about your new leader?

•What would you like to know to help us work effectively together?

•What significant obstacles, problems, issues need to be addressed immediately?

•What support would you like from [Leader Name] to achieve your/our goals?
The result of the workshop is a team fully aligned with their new leader, energised and motivated to work together.
